KTCU's governance structure is based on transparency, soundness, and stability to improve corporate value in the long term.
The Union promotes transparent management activities and the maximization of member welfare centering on its decision-making body, which is composed of the Board of Representatives and the Steering Committee, as well as officers and officer committee.

Decision-making
body

  • KTCU is governed by a decision-making body featuring the Board of Representatives and a Steering Committee. It discloses decisions and follow-up measures to all members and the public, thereby enhancing the transparency and credibility of management. Moreover, KTCU promotes smooth communication and transparent work performance by presenting major management issues as agenda items for discussions and meetings, collecting the feedback of representatives from each region, and reflecting their opinions in management.

  • Governance composition The organization which manages and operates KTCU’s affairs practically comprises 15 departments (offices) and 40 teams in the headquarters, centered on officers and officer committee. The KTCU’s branches comprise 6 regional headquarters along with 18 municipal and provincial branches. The KTCU's officers currently comprise one chairman, one auditor general, and three directors, all holding a three-year term of office.
  • Operation and role of each committee KTCU operates various committees to promote rational and professional decision-making. Each committee deliberates and decides on ESG issue.
